GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Educational network, seeks to bring about positive change related to the LGBTQI community in schools throughout the United States. Founded in 1990, GLSEN has numerous chapters in nearly every state in the country, more than 3500 in all.

Julia is a freshman and this is her third year doing the Seevak Website Competition. She enjoys reading, all crafts, making music, advocates social justice, especially gay rights, plus perserving the environment, and is a self-proclaimed biggest television nerd in this school.
