Selection
Selection was a brutal process during the Holocaust in which S.S. officers decided to play Gods. They weighed the value of human life, deciding who should live and who should die. During this rigorous process, the prisoners were forced to run in extreme conditions, malnourished and dehydrated. The S.S. officers would decide who was "healthy enough" to continue living, and who was "too weak" to go on. They made the prisoners run, and showed no compassion to neither adults nor children . They had complete disregard for human life. This was the horrid process known as selection, in which many friends and families were once again seperated , with no hope of ever seeing eachother again.
