JUDAISM

Judaism is based on a monotheistic belief. They believe in a benevolent, omniscient, omnipotent God It is one of the oldest religions and can be viewed as a religious culture for Jewish people. It can be called this, because it includes both a religion that they live by and a way of life. They believe that God is fair, just, and merciful. They base their religion on the Ten Commandements. When the Israelites accepted these codes of laws on Mount Sinai, they decided to live their lives based on these codes. These laws affected not only the way they live but also the way they treated others. It is believed that each person is created in the image of God, and therefore, everyone is equal. Everyone is responsible for their own actions and should therefore take responsibily for them. Their whole religion is based on the Ten Commandments:
